Holy smokes it's
another Texas HoldEm game. Myelin Media will drop the new video game,
Stacked with Daniel Negreanu to the PS2 in the third quarter of 2005.
The new PS2 version of Stacked will work directly with the new PSP
handheld to let users continue their career progress at home or on the
go. The game was previously announced for Xbox, PSP, and PC.
Using a USB cable
to connect the PS2 and PSP, users can maintain the same user ID on
both systems to transfer their career mode and custom characters.
Users competing online will also be able to play using their PS2 or
PSP system.
"Poker fans with a
PlayStation 2 will soon be able to experience the authentic poker
gameplay, comprehensive online multi table tournaments and outstanding
learning artificial intelligence of Stacked," said Gene Mauro, CEO of
Myelin Media Inc. "We have taken full advantage of the system’s
connectivity features with the PSP system, allowing players unmatched
convenience and portability in the single player game and a massive
pool of opponents to compete with online."
