Capitalizing on the
growing popularity of mobile games and online poker, Mobile Pioneer,
Inc. today announced the release of a "no limit" version of Maui Texas
Holdem, its mobile multiplayer poker game. As seen on TV, no limit
games allow players to "go all in" -- bet all their money -- at any
point in the game.
Maui Texas Hold'em features both limit and no-limit Texas Holdem games
for cell phones. Up to 8 live players at a time can be seated at a
table. Play does not use real money, but in every other respect is
similar to actual Texas Holdem online poker. Maui Texas Holdem lobbies
support both limit and no limit games.
The application has been designed from the ground up to successfully
overcome the constraints inherent in the mobile environment. To ensure
live action, users can be notified when players are online by way of
wireless email notification.
In addition to live multiplayer action, the Maui Texas Holdem client
software includes a powerful "shootout" format tournament for
off-network play. Maui Texas Holdem client software is available for
over 30 handset models, including Nokia, Samsung, and Sanyo. New
clients are made available on a continuing basis.
