Crave is putting some touches on their forthcoming
multi-console title World Championship Poker, and the game looks
to be making quite an impact when it arrives this fall.
First off, the game will be budget priced at $19.99, allowing casual
users to get in on the action without having to hurt their wallets,
something real texas holdem poker is capable of doing.
Secondly, the PS2 edition stands out, as it will fully support the
EyeToy and microphone devices, so players can interact with each other
and allow for chat, intimidating looks, and so on. So soave your poker
face.
Finally, no matter what your platform, each one captures the essence of
real poker play, allowing you to see how your opponents react virtually,
as well as see what kind of cards you're playing with and what sort of
bets you want to up to. It may just be a poker game, but the interface
seems to be very impressive at this point.
World Championship Poker ships this fall for PS2.
