TEXAS HOLDEM ONLINE POKER

The prestigious UK gaming brand has added the site to expand its global reach into one of the Internet's fastest growing markets. Online poker accounted for more than 15% of the $5.7bn global online gaming market last year.

The site is licensed by WagerLogic, a subsidiary of gaming software developer CryptoLogic.

"CryptoLogic continues to capitalise on the spectacular growth of internet poker by strengthening our relationships with the best names in gaming," said Lewis Rose, CryptoLogic's president and CEO. CryptoLogic says it now aims to grow online poker to 15% of its overall revenue in 2004.

The poker room will offer the newest version of WagerLogic's software, customised to The Ritz's brand. The site offers the most popular games, including Texas Holdem, Omaha High, Omaha High/Low and 7-Card Stud.
