WEST PALM
BEACH -- The Palm Beach Kennel Club will begin offering
Texas Holdem poker tournaments today.
Players must
pay a $45 buy-in, including a $13 card-room fee, and receive
$1,500 in tournament chips for Texas Holdem play. There are
no re-buys. Tournaments this week will be today and
Thursday, starting at 12:30 p.m. Registration is from 11:30
a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
"Our
customers have been asking for these tournaments for years,"
said Mike Cernobyl, the track's poker room director.
Starting
next week, the tournaments will be Monday through Thursday,
alternating between 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. starts. |
