well folks had our first texas holdem tourney. I thought it went over quite well.. 30 buy in got you 200 in chip money then rebuys for the first 2 hours if chip amount is under $100. I allowed one add on of $200 in chip money for $10. I encouraged everyone to do this since we had only 7 guys playing (1 guy said nah) needless to say he was the first out but he looked like from his cell phone calls he wanted to go early anyways.
limits were 2-4, for 1 1/2 hours then 3-6 for 1 hour.
Then it jumped up to 5-10 for 45 minutes and kept increasing every 30 minutes.
All in all, the leader was staked at the end but the winner came back form being broke to take it so it played out a long time.
Everyone had a good time and played for quite sometime so that was my objective!....now I know how to make this even more better.
