What's poker all about to you?
The last couple of weeks I have been playing tournaments with "play money". Of course the game was all about doing better then the other 9 players at the table as there was no real money to win.
I thought once I started playing for real money maybe I would feel differant about playing. I thought it would be more about winning the money.
As you may have read in my other post I just started playing for real money, but well playing all I wanted to do was take the other players out or have them take each other out.
I wanted to be the last one at the table and it had nothing to do with any prize money.
So what is poker about to you?
Is it about the money or about being the best at the table?
they go hand and hand but if ur asking what i would get more satisfaction out of btwn being a winner and making money i would choose making money...
esp in a tourney where i would get great satisfaction out of winning it but wouldnt make risky plays/close calls that would increase my chances of placing first but decrease my chances of getting into the money or placing well once in it..
