I started to play for real money today on EmpirePoker.
I played the single table $5/1
The first tournamnet I placed 4th, so close to being in the money.
The second tournament I placed 2nd ($15)
The first table was some really tight players.
The second tournament had a couple loose players that went out preaty quick.
Both took about a hour to play.
So after my very first real money tournaments I'm up a big $3, big bucks...lol
You high rollers can feel free to laugh.
Even if I would have lost both and been down $12 I would have had to say it was a lot more fun then any "play money" tournaments I have been in.
Anyway I want to share my joy with you guy's as my wife does not care....
maybe if you start reading her Cosmopolitan and show real interest in what to wear this summer and take her shopping for shoes (paying AND listening to why she´s got to have this pair), she finds it interesting to hear about your poker plays...
see, pretty unlikely, isn´t it ;-)
little advice for the tourney though. never mess with the big stack when you´re close to being in the money, but this has been said a numerours times on this forum.
Unfortunatly not always True Marky, I just finished 4th in a sit and go where I knocked out 5 people. Had the chip lead at 6000 nearest person was 1400. KK loss, AK loss, AJ loss, 1010 buh bye. LOL oh well.
